THE COLONIAL

November 3, 2014
Get excited!! I have some surprising news! Elz Design is working on renovating another home. Located in Evansville, IN this colonial home is hiding it’s original farmhouse charm. Let’s go over the stats for this jewel of ours…

This 2,186 sq ft 2-story single family home has 4 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms.

Built: 1930’s
Lot: 1.01 acres
Fireplaces: 2
Parking: Detached 2-Car Garage, 400 sq ft
Basement: Partial
Cooling: Central A/C
Heating: Central
Pool
Fun Facts:

-This house was the original farmhouse for all of Arcadian Acres neighborhood nestled on one of the highest points of Evansville’s eastside.

-The walls are constructed of glazed cinder block with a brick exterior, which means this house is going nowhere in a tornado. Constructed very well!

-The exterior shutters are all original hinged shutters used during storms to close and protect the windows.

Let's start with the exterior before pictures…
